BGR - Senior Tester

Exciting opportunity to join us as a Senior Tester within our fast-paced, friendly B2B Technology team.  This is a newly formed role and will suit a talented candidate with proven experience in developing manual test scripts, integrations, testing of applications and API interfaces.

A bit about the role... 

Working in the B2B Technology team, the Senior Tester will be working on Costa’s cloud systems to ensure quality products are developed for our B2B customers. The projects range from IOT telemetry systems to business-to-business web portals and customer-facing mobile apps, all with the aim of making it easy to do business with Costa. Collaborating with automation testers and developers based in both UK & Sofia, this role is critical in the Agile software development lifecycle to enable fast speed of change.

The role will:

• Develop manual test scripts to quality check the cloud based B2B Technology software applications and integrations
• Understand new software requirements from Product Analysts & Developers and build test scripts with high test coverage
• Identify happy and unhappy path tests, plus core test scenarios for regression testing
• Execute test cases, guiding team on estimated time to complete all testing
• Collaborate with senior developer in test on which test cases can be automated, ensuring no gaps in test coverage

• Multiple years experience in a tester role, designing test scripts and creating test reports from functional tests
• Comprehensive knowledge of test tools and frameworks, including Jira, Confluence & DevOps
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodology
• Comprehensive knowledge of the testing of applications and API interfaces
• Ability to effectively communicate with users, project teams and other stakeholders
• Ability to explain complex details in simple terms for non-technical stakeholders to understand
• Flexibility - able to change direction on a test plan if required for delivery and still remain in control
