This role is a key financial support role to the Corporate Partnerships & FMCG Finance team. It supports financial performance reporting across the Corporate partnerships team.

A bit about the role...

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of financial support for 400 Corporate Stores, 2800 Proud To Serve points and New Business, with a focus in supporting the Finance team in influencing business stakeholders. You’ll also be required to supports the Account manager for Ireland and Channel Islands. Main duties include: 

• Lead budget and forecasting processes for Ireland & Channel Islands Business Unit.
• Build effective financial reporting capability / KPIs and deliver accurate, timely reporting
• Provide regular updates on financial performance, including insight into underlying drivers and required actions
• Maintain department specific reporting on PowerBI utilising business experts as and when required.
• Work with the Ireland and Channel Islands team to support the delivery of the financial targets, providing performance reporting and insight.
• Appraise financial business cases for new opportunities within the Ireland & Channel Islands Business, supported by the Senior Finance Manager.

Please note, this role is offered on a 6m FTC to start with an immediate start.

• Would suit a finalist or newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA/MBA),
• Significant experience in the Finance team of a multi-site blue chip retailer / FMCG
• Worked in a fast paced, customer-facing organisation
• Experience of using PowerBI
• Strong analytical and excel based modelling / reporting capability
• Proven presentational skills at Senior Manager, both written and verbal
• Able to influence effectively at all levels up to Senior Manager

Location: Dunstable Bedfordshire, but we’re OK with you working from home if you’re OK to travel to our Head Office twice a week.
